Dispatch Services For Owner-Operators

When you own one truck, you are the driver, the dispatcher, the accountant and the salesperson. Something has to give, and usually it is either your revenue or your evenings.

A dispatcher does not just save you time on load boards. It changes your negotiating position — because someone is working the phones during the hours you are legally required to be driving.

What This Looks Like In Practice

You Keep Control

Nothing gets booked without your approval. We bring you options with the rate, the miles and the deadhead, and you decide.

Your Authority, Your Business

Freight moves under your own MC number. We work for you — we are not a broker and we do not take possession of your freight.

Home Time Is Planned, Not Hoped For

Tell us when you need to be home and we plan the week backwards from that instead of trying to squeeze it in.

The Accessorials Add Up

Detention, layover, TONU, extra stops, driver assist, lumper reimbursement. Individually small, annually significant — and easy to forget to ask for when you are tired.

The real problem

The Constraint Is Hours, Not Effort

Nobody works harder than a one-truck owner-operator, and that is exactly the problem. The load board does not stop refreshing because you are driving, and the good freight is gone in minutes. By the time you have parked, showered and opened the app, what is left is what nobody else wanted.

This is not a discipline failure. It is arithmetic. Hours of Service exist for good reason, and the hours you are legally required to spend resting are the same hours brokers are booking. One person cannot occupy both sides of that.

What a dispatcher changes is not how hard you work but when the work happens. Load search, rate negotiation and broker calls move into the hours you are behind the wheel, so the options are waiting when you stop rather than the search starting then.

The second thing it changes is your negotiating position. A carrier who is empty, tired and needs something today is negotiating from the worst possible place, and brokers can hear it. Booking ahead removes that, and the rate reflects it.

Getting started

What The First Week Looks Like

  1. 1

    We Learn How You Run

Lanes you want, lanes you refuse, receivers you would rather avoid, and the days you need to be home. Written down once, applied every time.

  2. 2

    Broker Setups Get Built Out

The number of brokers you are set up with is the size of the market you can access. We build that list rather than reacting when a load appears.

  3. 3

The First Load Comes With Numbers Attached

Rate, loaded miles, deadhead, appointment windows and negotiated accessorials. You approve or decline in a minute.

  4. 4

The Reload Starts Before You Deliver

So the week has continuity rather than restarting from zero at every dock.

That first week is free. We find you a load, negotiate the rate, dispatch it and handle the broker — and you only continue if it justified itself. We do not publish rates because the honest answer depends on how you run, and a week of real work tells you more than any number on a page.

Questions

Dispatch Services for Owner-Operators — common questions

I only have one truck. Am I too small for you?

No. Single-truck owner-operators are the majority of who we dispatch, and the service was built around that operation rather than adapted down from fleet work.

Will I lose control of my business?

You approve every load before it is booked, freight moves on your own authority, and you decide which lanes you run. What you hand over is the administrative work, not the decisions.

What if I already have a couple of regular customers?

Then we work around them. Plenty of carriers come to us with one or two direct shippers and want help filling the rest of the week rather than replacing what already works.

How much of my day will this take?

Less than doing it yourself, by a wide margin. Approving loads takes a minute each, and sending paperwork from the dock takes seconds. Everything else happens at our end.
